LinguaLearn  

Combines a soft sell approach to their own product with good advice and some useful links.

SavoirFaire  

The Savoir Faire Institute in California offers courses in many major including French and Spanish and also includes some basic advice on language learning.

Ahoi  

Linked to Vtrain vocabulary learning software. This page has a number of interesting links and tips.

IPA Help  

Use this SIL software to learn or revise the sounds of the International Phonetic Alphabet by clicking on a character in the chart. IPA Help supplies spoken examples of both the International Phonetic Alphabet and word lists with language examples.

University College London  

Interactive web-based tutorials and other resources from University College London.

University of Lausanne  

Online phonetics course in English and French.

Fonetiks  

Online pronunciation guides for a number of languages. You have to pay a registration fee to get all of the information, but there are a number of free examples.

University of Washington  

Resources with particular reference to the study of spoken English.
